As mentioned in the notes to the May 27, 1957 session, "I Don't Wanna Be Kissed" is a medley of "I Don't Wanna Be Kissed" and another tune, "A - You're Adorable" by Sid Lippman, Buddy Kaye, and Fred Wise, composed in 1948 and sometimes called "The Alphabet Song." The only overdub solo in which Davis plays this second melody is "I Don't Wanna Be Kissed" (overdub solo 8), where the transition to the latter tune occurs at 2:12. In overdub solo 19 (complete) Davis begins the passage that usually culminates in the "A - You're Adorable" theme, but he veers off and plays something else -- listen at 1:09.
