Three groups performed: a septet led by Nicholas Albert, a Toots Thielemanns quintet, and a Peanuts Holland-led septet. Common rhythm section: Ebeling, Von Der Meden, Söhring, and Hilpert, although Ebeling is replaced by Rudi Werner in the Holland group. Several additional pieces were broadcast: Thielemanns' group performed "Sweet Georgia Brown" (3:05) and "I've Found a New Baby" (4:35); Holland's group performed "After You've Gone" (6:30), "There'll Be Some Changes Made" (5:40), "I'm Confessin' That I Love You" (5:20), and "Weary Blues" (inc, 0:50).
