Welcome to MFs Anonymous
The original MFs Anonymous website was designed by Chris Sherman in the mid-1990s. He bequeathed it to me when he moved on to the terrific What You Need to Know About™ website in 1998 (last I checked, you could still reach him by e-mail).
MFs Anonymous is the offspring of the Miles-L listserv, a mailing list populated by Miles Davis fans. Many of the subscribers to Miles-L have been with the list for years, though it's always being joined by new people, and occasionally people sign off. (Many don't; their names and e-mail addresses remain in the listserv long after they've moved on. Unsubscribing from mailing lists seems to be one of the great mysteries of the internet.)
Here are a few links to other pages that have been part of the MFs Anonymous site for several years. The list of MFs (the "Rogues Gallery") is extremely dated, and some of the people listed here have not been heard from for years.
