Hi I'm Alex and I'm a Jazzaholic. Actually I am an Aircraft Engineer by day here in Ottawa, Canada's Capital. Beautiful city if not a tad Jazz poor, although I fully expect James Hale to correct me on that statement. I don't play any instrument other than the air sax when listening to Trane, air trumpet when listening to Miles and air drums till my arms ache when I listen to Billy Cobhams Quadrant 4. I'm originally from England put left home when I was 15 to see the world, which I did and ended up here about 17 years ago. I cook a fine curry even if I say so myself and wok up a storm even without "Wok with Yan". I have to 2 great kids and 1 great ex wife plus 2 not so great ex wives, hey you win some you lose some. Anyway I really enjoy this list, even when I get totally lost with the technospeak. Before this list I thought a 5th was a measure of drink, and now ....... I still do.
