Joe Goldberg's liner notes reverse Bateman and Guillemet: "Of his associates on this record, only Philadelphia pianist Austin Crowe remains from the earlier session. Walt has known bassist Edgar Bateman and drummer Guillemet for quite a while, and it was his decision to use them here."
