The Davis group performed on the second night of the two-night "Northwest Jazz Spectacular." The bill for October 3 (Saturday) included Cannonball Adderley, Roberta Flack, and Don Ellis. The Bill Evans Trio opened on Sunday, followed by the Miles Davis Sextet [sic], and the closing act was the Herbie Hancock Sextet.

The Davis group performed, along with Osmosis, at the Boston Tea Party on Sunday, September 13. Other performances include: Seattle Center Arena (October 4); Royce Hall, UCLA (October 10); Zellerbach Auditorium, UC-Berkeley (October 14).
