"Can't Stay Away From You" is the original title for "Ms. Morrisine." The music listed above is unslated, and consists of a rehearsal for the rhythm section: only synth, g, el-b, and d are audible. Thornton is not audible on any of these tracks.

The music released on That's What Happened: Bootleg Series, Vol. 7 (Sony 19439863852-2) as "Theme from Jack Johnson (Right Off)/Intro" is listed as from this date, but that is an error.

"Could It Be Right" was remade the next day.

"Never Knew Love Like This Before" (listed in the files as "Never Love Like This") was also remade the next day. It was issued as "Never Loved like This (studio session demo)" (5:08).

The music listed here (on reel #4) is unslated but includes tpt, org, el-b, plus the sound from the "click track" only -- no drums are audible. About 60 minutes were recorded on two reels.

According to John Scofield, Davis participated in a number of sessions in late 1983-early 1984 where as many as 40 rock and pop tunes were recorded. The dates include November 17, 1983; November 18, 1983; December 21, 1983; January 26, 1984; January 27, 1984; February 7, 1984 (no information); February 8, 1984 (no information February 16, 1984; and February 17, 1984 (no information).
