"Something on Your Mind" was originally recorded on May 25, 1984 including Bob Berg (ts) and Al Foster(d). Music from many of the original 24 tracks was used on the released version. The remaining tracks were re-recorded on this date with Wilburn replacing Al Foster; Berg's part is omitted.

"Something on Your Mind" (10:41) includes a tpt part overdubbed on January 18, 1985. That tpt part is missing from the released portion of the track. "MD 1" is the opening of "Train Sound," and "MD 2" is the closing of "Electronic Sounds." "Something on Your Mind" is listed as "D-Train," and "MD 1" and "MD 2" appear in the files as "Intro."
